What to Expect at a First Treatment
I set aside 30 minutes to discuss your symptoms, but we may not take that entire time if it's not necessary. Treatment is 60 minutes, and can include acupuncture, herbs, gua sha or cupping. (A more detailed description is on my blog.) Please wear loose fitting clothing that allows access to your knees and elbows. You can bring clothes to change into, or request a cover up. Have a snack and drink water. Don’t schedule a blood draw, medical procedures, strenuous activity like a 10K, or long hike on the same day.
Please don't wear spanx, but you can wear compression garments, casts or necessary medical devices.
Conditions Not Treated
My insurance doesn't cover treating cancer, or people who are pregnant.
***Cold/flu/allergy symptoms are very similar to Covid. Due to the recent surge in cases, we will not treat those symptoms without a recent negative Covid test. I am happy to do online herb visits, with curbside herb pickup or online prescription.
